A lot of people are like this, including me. I have always been a night owl, and I've made several attempts at falling asleep and getting on a normal sleep pattern. I eventually fall back into my old ways. Some psychologists and sleep researchers consider it a sleeping disorder, but others recognize that is just some people's natural body rhythm...some people are just more productive and/or alert at night, possibly because that's when it's quiet.

I don't know if you work out, but the only thing I've found that kind of helps with sleeping other than routinely being forced to get up early in the morning is taking sleeping aids. Besides that, working out takes up a lot of your energy and seems to make some people tired at a normal hour or an earlier hour than they normally are.
