   humanities diets have changed over time due to many parameters. some of the factors would be the evolution of technology. the use of technology has extended the shelf life of our food stock. the use of steroid in our meats (i.e. chicken,pork,beef) are also affecting humans, the movement of large number of people to large metropolitan areas has forced our food supply to suffer in the form of freshness. fresh produce is now extremely expensive, as is the now increasing demand for organic foods. it’s is now a world were only the rich can afford a healthy diet. the poor are being segregated to eating canned goods. the life span of human has greatly been increased due to the fact of the myriad of supplements that are available to the mass market, supplement, vitamins, weight reduction products, muscle enhancement products. our pantry’s are filled with chemicals, some good some bad, some we still don’t know the long term effects of yet. because of all these changes our bodies are changing as well, the flora (intestinal microbes) have also changed. it has been said that if we could bring someone from the past, like an ancient roman, that person would not be able to digest our food because he would have a completely different flora strain in his intestinal system.-blurey

   Thanks to new invention like refigeration and mass production there are more convenient ways of preserving food for the consumer.
   Who works more long boring hours and uses less physical activity and is paid an average wage to keep a living to buy the things they want or need to survive. Need money to live.
   life is easier in some ways. Do not have to hunt to survive or gather food everyday,water comes out of a tap now a days. .
   So people have more time on their hands.
