Why has my sleeping pattern changed ?

I used to go to bed 11 pm – 12 pm and suddenly I can’t get to sleep at night I stay up till round about now and they get up at 1pm it’s ruining my school holidays I feel lazy , I have been really depressed for the past nine months and haven’t done anything about it is it down to that?

    yeah so do i! it’s really awful isnt it? I don’t know exactly why but I think the depressed bit could probably have something to do with it. Best thing to do for the sleep bit is to try an force yourself to go to sleep, switch off the lights, no music, telly, internet…nothing and go to bed as you normally would, it should do the trick but it will take a little while longer to fall asleep and then keep to it. I did this like last week but as you can see I didn’t keep to it lol

    I’m sort of having the same situation, except I’m not suffering from depression.
    My problem is I stay up late on the weekends and on holiday vacations from school, and then when the time comes for me to be in bed at a decent hour, I can’t fall asleep.
    I’ve learned, through experience, that the best way to cure this is to gradually go to bed earlier until you have no trouble falling asleep at your normal time.
    If you stay up until 1am, try going to bed my 11pm. Slowly go backwards until you reach your designated time, whether it be 10 or even 9.
