Family ties is talked about inside the classroom most especially now that the holiday season is filling the air with warm thoughts of meeting relatives.
I’m a little unclear on the meaning- because the grammar’s a bit sticky… but let me know if these suggestions are on the right track…?
but what about instructional potlucks! That’s based on the “family reunion”… applied in an “instructional” sense. Instead of bringing a caserol, the students bring information to share. Everyone feasts!
Or how about an Instructional Family Portrait? Family members of all generations would get together to take a snap-shot to document the family event- which is then looked back on years later. In the instructional enviornment- a videotape could record a class discussion or presentation- which could be referred to later.
