when you work a night shift finishing between 2.0a.m and 7.0a.m [depends on orders in] should that day be counted as your day off or as the first day of your annual holiday.they are changing my shift patterns to 3 days 8 am to 5 pm.3days nights 5 pm until finish [generally 3-5 am] then three days off.but the first day off I will have worked several hours .Is this a day off? And they want to cut down on our holiday allowance as we are now having so many more days off.Does any one know if there any rules concerning when a day off is a day off.
