I have read and re-read my contract..and it quite clearly states that my annual leave hours includes departmental closures including bank holidays..

So I will broach the subject about being rostered above 30 hours on a bank holiday week.

Interestingly, today I had a chat with my manager because I had been notifyed that I owed the department 11 hours…well we worked through it and it was all wrong and it turned out I had worked over 27 hours extra…

So I think I am just going to go to Citizens Advice Bureau..when I can get the time…oh perhaps I can ask for time off now, they owe it to me.
