please explain a three-needle bind-off. I picked up a pattern whilst on holiday in Cape Cod and don’t have the glossary to tell me what this means. Hope that some kind knitter can help. Thanks Anna.
Hey.
what you do first is, if you have to, you first arrange all your stitches so they’ll be on two needles only. There should be an even number on both. Insert your third needle through the first loop in the front needle and the first loop on the back needle.
you then knit through both of these stitches at once. you then do the same thing with the next front and back stitches on the needles and with the two stitches on your right needle you slip the first loop over the second loop. And then you continue doing the same thing across the row.
