Holidays are coming to an end and my sleeping pattern is whack, I only have a few more days to get up almost 6 hours earlier than i currently am now, and I need some tips to get to sleep when not exactly tired to help me get up earlier.
Well, just go to sleep as you do now, get up when you have to, you’ll be exhausted, but you’ll survive the day. After that you’ll go much earlier to bed, guaranteed!
Watching something boring on tv with this monotone, calm voice might help too.
what i do is i just go to sleep at my normal time then wake up 6 hours early, you will be exhausted the first day but then you will want to go to bed early then next day and then wake up early and then your set
1. Start getting some physical exercises during the day, if you are not already – but not later than 4 hours before bedtime.
2. Don’t sleep anytime during the day.
3. Don’t take caffeine or sugar 4 hours prior to bedtime.
4. Take a warm bath an hour before bedtime. This will set your body temp to correct level by sleep time.
5. Set a soothing music in the background if that helps during sleep time.
6. Use sleep mask if too much light in the bedroom is an issue.

What works for me, especially now in the winter, is an electric blanket. The warmth puts me to sleep in a jiffy!
