I’ve just been on holiday to Playa Del Carmen in Mexico. One of the days a snake slithered its way on to the hotel complex. It was around 1 – 2 feet in length. Its body was mainly a dark orange/red colour with a blue/black head and a blue/black tail tip. Apart from the colours, there was no distinguishable pattern to it. The hotel worker who ‘dealt’ with it seemed to be implying that it was dangerous, although this could have been misunderstood. I’m just curious what this snake might have been. Any ideas?
