and now ive gotten used to it. i really need to get my old sleeping pattern back because of school and i dont  know how.<br />
one the first day i didnt sleep at all, on the second i slept for 2 hours after about 5 in the morning and woke up at 7ish to go school and now its the third day and im up and i need help<br />

Well I hope you understand that lol, do you know any ways I can get a proper sleep pattern back in a couple of days?? Thanks x</p>

I&#8217;ve tried not sleeping at all and then going to bed at normal time but by the time it&#8217;s 11pm again I&#8217;m wide awake, no matter how little I&#8217;ve slept.</p>
<p>It&#8217;s really annoying and having a nap makes it worse.<br />
Before it started I drank a lot of coffee too, could this have contributed to the problem? Caffeine addiction maybe?</p>

<p>It is the summer holidays and I need to find a way to fix my horrible sleeping pattern that is forming as we speak. It is 3.25pm here in the UK and I have woken up about 10 minutes ago, I am in my nightwear and I have a cup of coffee and a cigarette on the go, those are the things I normally wear and do at 6am (although obviously I have cigarettes throughout the day). I need to find a way that I can fix my sleeping habit so that I can wake up earlier.</p>
<p>The only way that I thought I could do this would be to completely starve myself of sleep tonight, and then I will be tired enough to sleep tomorrow night. I have a dilemma because tomorrow is my birthday, and if I go on with my normal sleeping behavior, I will miss almost the whole day, and if I starve myself of sleep, I will be incredibly tired tomorrow.</p>
<p> Is there any way of getting to sleep after only 5 hours of being awake?</p>

So the next night I can&#8217;t sleep till 5-6am and get 2 hours sleep, then the next night I get 7-8 hours sleep, etc.<br />
I know that jet lag can make you fall into weird sleep patterns, I just don&#8217;t get why if I am getting up at the same time every morning, I am having this alternating sleep pattern.<br />
Any ideas are appreciated!</p>
