I purchased a Gemmy Holiday Light “programmer” and began using it. It seems to randomly flash whenever, with no particular patterns. Am I using this wrong? Its 12 channels and I would like to see this thing make lights look good with some order. If you have used this or the 6 channel one I would like any feedback you can give, especially if you have used something else like Light O Rama
That is the function of the controller. You can not customize the program like you can with LOR.
If you want to be able to tell the thing when to turn on/off, you need a Dlight, LOR or AL system.
There are other systems out there now too.
You would have to go to PlanetChristmas.com and ask the members of the forum there.
I have heard that you can add your own songs to the Gemmy L&S. If so, try a reaaallllly slow song and see if it acts hyper.
If so, take it back, and buy a LOR system. There are plenty of them available on the forum or ebay.
