Am I The ONLY ONE?

holiday patterns
SQ+2 asked:

Who decorates for different Holidays? Easter is approaching, I just today bought new chair covers for my dining room chairs…
1-Pink
1-Green
1-White
1-Yellow
They are in a Tulip Pattern, and very Easter-y! I have found some outstanding tablecloths for almost every Holiday in the past few years, but only today expanded the decoration to the chairs, too.

I can’t be the only one…can I???

This has only started in the last few years due to the kids, and wanting them to enjoy the Holidays more. Do you do this, too?

No, too expensive. Also, I try not to clutter my house with a lot of un-necessary stuff. I change with the seasons by changing throw pillows, linens and window treatments. Also, adding flowers, pinecones or colored leaves is more earth friendly and does the trick.

I did it alot when my kids were smalls, but just a little now. I change the tablecloth, flowers, wreaths, knick-knacks (usually things they made me in school when they were little and although they are teenagers now they still enjoy seeing me use them). I always buy paper plates and napkins for the season and holiday just to use for their sandwiches, pop tarts, whatever to make it feel more festive.
