wow, sounds like you’re having anxiety problems. I would suggest seeing a dr.
They will be able to determine if it’s a sleep problem or a mental health problem
    best of luck

Hmmm not too good. Try not sleeping for the rest of the day- that way you’ll be really tired. Then go to sleep at around 6pm. The next day repeat and go to bed at 7pm. Continue until you reach a bedtime of 11pm and that way you should be back to your regular sleeping habits. Try not to sleep later than 11, it’ll be harder to wake up and therefore harder to sleep the next night. Good luck and sweet dreams! ;)

Are there significant stressors in your life? Do you feel that you’re depressed? Not everybody who has sleeping disorders has to be stressed or depressed, but they’re common factors. Regardless of the cause, it would be good for you to get some kind of medication to help you sleep. There’s no shame in taking drugs to keep you healthy and let you function better during the day. And if you’re dealing with any major stress or depression, the lack of sleep is a bad cycle; you can’t concentrate on getting better if you haven’t slept!

I used to be an insomniac. I would have tons of thoughts racing through my head and I would not be able to sleep at night. I started doing more things during the day–more physical things. Also, before I go to sleep at night, I do a word search or I play tetris on my phone. I just find something to strain my eyes and relax my mind. I keep a book of word search puzzles in my headboard and my phone is always near. That helped immensely. To answer your second question, yes you do sleep too much. You should never let yourself sleep more than 8 hours (possibly less if you require less sleep to function normally). I generally sleep 5-7 hours (closer to 5) a night and that is enough. Good luck! If it gets worse, I would call your doctor!

I had the same problem and went to my doctor, she put me on prozac for anxiety, I am now able to sleep but I don’t recommend it since it has affected other aspects of my life. But definitely see your doctor. Good luck.
